Wimbledon

Watched the Wimbledon finals last night on cable. It was, as what everybody kept saying, a 'rematch' of last year's Wimbledon finals. Imagine, Roger Federer and Andy Roddick once more vying for the Cup. But, whatever. Although I'm a big Andy Roddick fan, I can't help but admit Andy's defeat even before their feet touched the grass. I mean, come on, Federer is like the most brilliant player on the field. He's absolutely great, no denying it. So...I knew the chance of Andy winning is more likely...well, nil. But still. I still yelled whenever he gets an ace (well...yeah, Federer somehow got more aces than him. But whatever), or whenever he's leading or if he breaks the serve.

And yeah, Andy lost. :P The game didn't even last that long...it didn't even reach four sets. 6-2, 7-6, 6-4. Gah. Look at the points. And I so thought that if ever Andy's the one who serves, it'll all end so fast cause he'll be getting so many aces. How wrong I was. Everytime Andy serves, Federer just gets it and then it continues on until too many deuces. Gah. And I so thought Andy has this wonderful unbreakable serve because, well, he has the fastest serve record (155 mph). Imagine, and he was beaten!!!

*sigh* Ah, well. You can't win 'em all. I'll just have to wish him good luck and hope that he wins the US Open. *crosses fingers*
